He is undergoing medical examinations and will be rehabbed before Ahly's match,” the Cairo giant's official website stated. After losing 2-1 to Ghana's Chelsea in the first round of Group B, Zamalek are finalising their preparations for the second round of the CAF Champions League against archrivals Ahly, who beat DR Congo's TP Mazembe 3-2 away. Zamalek manager Hassan Shehata is still hoping Egypt's Olympic coach Hany Ramzy will release goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shennawy and striker Omar Gaber to play the match, leaving them with two empty spots in the squad. Ramzy announced Tuesday that he will not release the players as he is preparing for the 2012 London Olympics. Forward Amr Zaki, who is suffering a knee injury and undergoing a rehabilitation programme, is also named in Shehata's squad.
