Hussein Hamdy says his relationship with Zamalek is over

Zamalek striker stays away from training, claiming that the Cairo giants have failed to meet their financial obligations to him

Zamalek's new-signing Hussein Hamdy said on Sunday that his relationship with the club has been irreparably damaged after the club failed to fulfill their financial obligations toward him.
The former Maqassa striker missed the team's training on Sunday and has insisted he will not return to the club until he receives outstanding wages.
‘'My relationship with the club was ended completely,'' Hamdy told Ahram Online.
‘'My contract with Zamalek obliged the club to offer me 50 per cent of my dues but I received only 10 per cent which was unacceptable. I received several offers from Wadi Degla, Bani Suef Telephones and my former club Maqassa and I hope that Zamalek's board accepts one of these offers," he added
The 26-year-old striker signed a four-year contract with Zamalek last summer but has failed to impress until now, scoring just two goals for the White Knights.
Hamdy is not the only player who has suffered financial problems with the club.
Hussein Yasser left the club for Belgium side Lierse in the summer while Amr Zaki has filed a complaint to the Egyptian Football Association, seeking the termination of his contract for the same reason.
Meanwhile Zamalek's board has set a LE20 million budget for the club's recruitment drive in the winter transfer window, which will start 10 January.
Zamalek are seeking to boost their squad with the team currently fourth in the league with 23 points, five behind leaders Harras El-Hodoud.
