Tunisia's CS Sfaxien sacks French-less coach Stumpf Difficulties in communication with players resulted in Tunisia's CS Sfaxien sacked their German Reinhard Stumpf
Tunisia's CS Sfaxien have decided to sack German coach Pierre Lechantre because he doesn't speak French; the second language in the Arab country. “It was very difficult to deal with a coach who speaks such weak French. Lack of communication between him and both the players and management affected the results badly,” the club president told a TV program late on Monday. “Our decision doesn't underestimate the coach and his abilities at all. The name of new coach will be revealed by Friday,” added the chairman. The 50-year old coach, Stumpf, who coached Saudi's Al-Hilal before, took charge of the Tunisian giants last summer signing a one-year contract. Seven-time Tunisian league title holders , CS Sfaxien, are now 6th in the domestic league table with eight points - 11 behind leaders Bizertin.
