CS Sfaxien officials are considering staging the CAF Champions League final in the Rades Stadium in Tunis, rather than in their hometown of Sfax. "Playing in Rades will guarantee a bigger crowd and our fans are used to travelling around the country to watch the team," Sfaxien coach Mrad Mahjoub told BBC Sport. "I would prefer the final to be played in Sfax so that we can share the occasion with our local supporters. "But Sfax is a Tunisian team and all Tunisians have the right to support Sfax in Rades,” the veteran boss added. The move to the Tunisian capital will give Sfaxien the support of an expected 60,000 capacity crowd in Rades. Sfaxien qualified to the Champions League final after beating South African side Orlando Pirates 1-0 on Saturday. Mahjoub said he was excited to see his team qualify to their first Champions League final in history. "Of course I am happy! It's not every year that your team qualifies for the Champions League final," said Mahjoub. "We played a very good game and now we have to think seriously about the final." However, Sfaxien's job will not be an easy one as they face four-time champions and title holders Ahli, and Mahjoub believes it won't be an easy job. "It (the final) needs a lot of preparation and we need to focus to win the cup," he said.
