Rain is forecast in Cairo on Sunday, as well as in most other parts of the country, although high temperatures are still expected, Egypt's Meteorological Authority said. The highest temperatures on Sunday are expected to be in the northern and southern parts of Upper Egypt. Mild weather is expected on the north coast throughout the day, and in most of the governorates at night. The rain is expected to be more intense in south Sinai, central Sinai and in the southern parts of the country. The country saw a heatwave last week, with temperatures hitting 45 degrees Celsius in Cairo at one point.
