Egypt and Liverpool star winger Mohamed Salah expressed that he doesn't want to put himself under pressure ahead of the "huge" UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid, saying that the success of his Premier League club is based on hard work and dedication. Liverpool is set to meet La Liga giants in the final of Europe's most prestigious club tournament in Kiev on Saturday. “To be honest, yes, I believed 100 per cent, from the first day I came here, [that] we were going to play in the Champions League, I believed we were going to go far, as much as we can, so now we are in the final,” Salah said in an interview with teammate defender Dejan Lovren on LFC TV. “If you look at our team now and in the beginning, you see the improvement [in] each round, each game and we were fighting to be in the Champions League and now we are in the final ... it's something huge. It's hard work, dedication,” the Pharaohs star added. Since joining Liverpool from Italy's AS Roma last summer, the 25-year-old Salah delivered outstanding performances, scoring 44 goals in 51 appearances this season. Salah played instrumental role in the success of Jurgen Klopp's team in the Champions League, with the Reds losing just once. “For me, each game is just the game. I focus always to win it but I don't want to just put myself under pressure to perform ... but in the end I know it's an important game for everyone, a huge game,” said Salah, who scored 11 goals in the Champions League this season. “Everyone is excited in the city and the club, [but] we have to just concentrate [and] focus on the game, then make as few mistakes as we can,” he added. Salah clinched Player of the Year and the Golden Boot, and will get the chance to add to that tally when Liverpool face Real Madrid.
