Padova's sporting director Rino Foschi confirmed on Thursday that the club has no desire to get back the Italo-Egyptian midfielder Stephan El-Shaarawy from AC Milan. “You can forget the suggestion that El-Shaarawy could return here. He's now part of another world,” Padova's sporting director Rino Foschi was quoted as saying by football-italia. The young star spent the last season with Padova before moving to AC Milan last summer but he failed to establish himself with the Rossoneri playing only 178 minutes in the Italian League scoring only one goal. Reports suggested that El-Shaarawy could return to Padova which looks for an attacking midfielder in January. “An attacking midfielder, for example, may arrive. But it won't be El Shaara,” Rino Foschi concluded.
