Egypt won its third Women's World Team Championship title after beating England 2-1 in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France on Sunday. England took the lead when Laura Massaro beat Egypt's star Nour El Sherbini 3-1 (11-9, 5-11, 6-11, 6-11) but the Pharaohs stormed back to clinch the prestigious title. Nouran Gohar overcame Alison Waters with a 3-0 win (11-6, 11-4, 12-10) and Raneem El Welily defeated Sarah-Jane Perry with the same score as Egypt won the best-of-three singles matches contest.
