Mortar shell kills security conscript in North Sinai, injures another
The police conscript was killed at a security checkpoint in Sheikh Zuweid, with another being injured

A police conscript died on Monday in Egypt's North Sinai and another one was injured when a mortar shell hit Al-Gora security checkpoint in Sheikh Zuweid.
Eyewitnesses in the governorate also said that a girl was killed in Abou-Al-Arag district, south of Sheikh Zuweid, when a mortar shell fell on her house, Ahram Arabic website reported.
Earlier on Monday, a roadside bomb struck a bus carrying teachers on the Sheikh Zuweid road, injuring three civilians.
