Egypt, Nigeria and Cameroon clinch awards in AYC
Egypt's Ahmed El-Shenawy, Cameroon's Salli Edgar Nicaise and Nigeria's Nwofor Uche Innocent scooped the awards of the 17th edition of the African Youth Championship

Scoring four crucial goals, Nwofor Uche Innocent finished on top of the scorers' chart after leading Nigeria to the Golden Medal of the tournament.
Cameroonian flamboyant right winger Salli Edgar has been named Player of the tournament after his brilliant displaysthroughout the two-week showdown. He was the Indomitable Lions' leading scorer with two goals, including one in the final.
Egypt's keeper Ahmed El-Shenawy won the FAIR player of the tournament award after a string of heroic performances as he managed to keep a clean sheet in four out of five games and conceded only one goal against Mali in the first round.
