Elmohamady confident Hull can progress in Europa League Pharaohs player Ahmed Elmohamady believes Hull City can continue their European campaign against Lokeren on Thursday
Hull City's Egyptian winger Ahmed Elmohamady is confident that his team will continue its Europa League campaign successfully despite last week's defeat against Lokeren. The Tigers will host the Belgium team on Thursday in the return leg and the Pharaohs player believes his team is ready for the challenge. "We know we have to win 2-0 on Thursday night after the first game, but we are confident,” Elmohamady told the Daily Star. "We want to keep the fans happy by winning and getting to the group stage, that's our aim. "When you play in Europe you have to keep your concentration and last week we conceded a goal from nothing," he added. Elmohamady, 26, joined Hull on a permanent basis from Sunderland last summer. Hull defeated Queens Park Rangers 1-0 in the English Premier League opener last week before Sunday's 1-1 draw against Stoke City.
