CAIRO: Egypt's Press Syndicate is hosting a reception tonight to celebrate Youm7 for winning the Forbes award for best website in the Middle East two years in a row.
The reception will begin at 6pm tonight in the Press Syndicate in downtown Cairo.
Last week, Youm7 was notified that Forbes was awarding it the 2011 Best Website in the Middle East award. Youm7 also won the award in 2010.
Youm7 is the sixth most-read website in Egypt – following Facebook, Google Egypt, Youtube, Google, and Yahoo – and is among the 500 most-read websites globally.
The website publishes an average of 600-700 articles daily. Youm7 also offers a daily printed edition in Arabic, an online radio channel, and an online English Edition.
