Egypt's Ambassador to Ethiopia Mohamed Fathy Idrees said Egyptian-Ethiopian relations enjoy diversity and are witnessing positive changes, adding that both countries are willing to rebuild strong relations. The two countries are working to develop relations in different fields to achieve their people's interests, he said in press releases to Ethiopian newspaper al-Alam. He also expressed his optimism for the coming period, saying it will witness great aspiration and cooperation between the two countries. Idrees also said both countries have managed to push the trade and investing relations, as an Egyptian delegation participated in a trade exhibition in Addis Ababa recently. He added that Egypt will also participate in another exhibition there in February 2012. Egypt's political trends reflect the will of the Egyptian people after the January 25 Revolution and it is important for both countries to improve their relations, said Idrees.
