CAIRO: Strong purchasing from Egyptian investors today drove Egypt's three main stock indexes up despite some strong Arab and foreign selling. The main EGX30 rose 0.61 percent, the EGX20 gained 0.27 percent, the medium- and small-company EGX70 index grew 0.12 percent and the EGX100 tacked on 0.13 percent. Several main company shares also made gains today, including Ezz Steel, up 0.20 percent; Commercial International Bank, up 0.04 percent; Qalaa, up 1.3 percent; Palm Hills, up 0.77 percent; and Hermes, up 0.63 percent.
