Interior Ministry reports no complaints during runoff elections

CAIRO: The operations room in the Egyptian Ministry of the Interior yesterday monitored the runoff elections in the first round of parliamentary elections.
The first round elections are held in the following governorates: Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said, Kafr el-Sheikh, Damietta, Red Sea, Fayoum, Asyut and Luxor.
The operations center has not received any complaints as of now, a ministry source reported.
The runoff elections witnessed contests between 104 individual candidates for 52 seats.
