The delegation met up with head of Tourism Reviving Authority, Amr al-Ezaby, to discuss encouraging tourism to Egypt worldwide, and particularly from Holland. Al-Ezaby said the visit was part of the effort to restore tourism into Egypt from Holland and Belgium. The visit is also a kind of promotion for Aswan and Marsa Alam touristic regions. “The Dutch delegation visited the major touristic attractions and archaeological sites in Aswan to promote for the Nile and cultural tourism,” al-Ezaby said. He added the delegation also visited Marsa Alam. Al-Ezaby said the Dutch market is one of Egypt's tourism's promising markets. In 2010, there were 291,000 Dutch tourists in Egypt.
