CAIRO: The Free Egyptians Party has accused the Freedom and Justice and al-Nour parties, for the second consecutive day, of continued campaigning in Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Kafr al-Sheikh, Port Said and Asyut. The Free Egyptians monitored the presence of the Freedom and Justice Party candidates' secretaries inside the subsidiary commissions guiding voters to vote for their candidates, in addition to using religious slogans. The party also monitored delays at the Tora, Hamamat Helwan, Abu Sekin, and al-Sayeda Roqaya schools due to judges and employees arriving late. Naguib Sawiris, founder of the Free Egyptians Party, highlighted the next parliament will not be dominated by Islamists. Sawiris said on the 90 Minutes show he does not attack the Muslim Brotherhood, but the faithful competition requires honesty, especially that parties entered an unfair competition with a strong scheme of religious weapons. He added he hopes Egypt will be like Turkey politically and economically. Sawiris also hopes Egyptians do not give up on a civilian state nor accept mixing politics and religion. He also said the coming parliament will be balanced; clarifying that Tahrir gave us our freedom back. He added that the reason behind the security problem is low salaries. Despite the difficult circumstances , there is no going back anymore, said Sawiris. He called for conciliation with businessmen saying the money and authority marriage in the previous regime was void. He highlighted that Pope Shenouda III is one of a kind who has not lost his power, but rather, most Christians are now free concerning their religious side due to the church fires and Maspiro incidents.
