CAIRO: Clashes broke out Tuesday evening between protestors from the April 6 Youth Movement and vendors in Cairo's Tahrir Square. No injuries were reported, but shops were closed and other protestors left the square. Protesters removed all equipment belonging to vendors outside the square. Meanwhile other demonstrators tried to ease the situation chanting, "One hand." Clashes broke out after a vendor used a trumpet. Protestors asked him to stop using it because it disturbs the elderly. The vendor then insulted the protestor from April 6, said protestor Ahmed Doma. Around 100 youth organized a campaign in the square to prevent vendors from entering the square. The movement staged a march, calling on vendors to leave the square. The initiative includes 50 youth from April 6, and 130 other youth from other movements. Hundreds of demonstrators marched to protest the ruling military council's policies amid the parliamentary elections after January 25 Revolution. Protesters chanted "The people want to overthrow the Marshal," and "Leave…Leave."
