CAIRO: Egypt's Ministry of Health is prepared for today's first round of parliamentary elections. The ministry drafted a plan to secure the first stage of elections for the People's Assembly, the lower house of Egypt's bicameral parliament, which began today. The ministry will provide 533 ambulances in the governorates which will witness the elections. The ministry raised the emergency state in different facilities in the nine governorates that are voting today. They also checked the validity of ambulances and medical devices in the different hospitals. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health provided hospitals with drugs and preparations and ambulances with their needs to be able to deal with any potential cases. It will also provide blood centers in the different governorates of the first stage of elections with blood bags. It also formed an operation room to receive emergency complaints. It will be headed by the chairman of the urgent therapeutic care sector.
