CAIRO: Egypt's Minister of Health Amr Helmy declared an alert in all hospitals and emergency care sectors across Egypt in preparation for tomorrow's demonstration. Political powers have called for a million Egyptians to take to the streets tomorrow, September 30. Helmy said he sent letters to all directorates of health affairs in all governorates to raise the readiness in all hospitals and emergency sections from today through Saturday. "There is a medical insurance strategy in Tahrir Square, with 35 ambulances in the square and surrounding area," said Helmy. Mobile clinics are prepared to deal with wounds and simple injures, in addition to a medical staff team from various specialties who will be available the whole day, to deal with different kinds of injures. Dr. Abdel Hamied Abaza, political assistant to the minister of health, said the strategy will be carried out through three axes: the first depends on concentrating six ambulances in front of the Shura Council, and declaring the alert nearby hospitals such as Mounira , Agouza, and Imbaba as a first level, and the Naser institute as a second level. The second sxis will be In Abdel Moniem Reyad, with five ambulances, and the third will be six ambulances in Simon Bolifar.
