CAIRO: Tahrir Square field hospital doctors denounced the Interior Ministry, in a statement, for arresting volunteer doctor Abdul Rahman Osama Mekawy and demanded his immediate release by the Interior Ministry along with all other citizens randomly arrested. Tahrir Square's doctors said citizens present in the square are from all walks of life and classes and are not thugs as alleged by state media. The statement also said "the field hospitals now have a surplus of supplies and medical devices which will be donated to any hospital in need in the provinces. We disassociate ourselves from any campaign asking for supplies, whether domestic or international. Thank you to everyone's contributions and we suggest that all donations be sent directly to victims of the revolution in need of treatment."
