CAIRO: The Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) will participate in the meeting with the Supreme Council of the Egyptian Armed Forces (SCAF), General-Secretariat Saad Katani today said. FJP Chief Mohamed Morsi will represent the Party in the meeting. “It is most important that forces attacking demonstrators in Tahrir Square withdraw,” Katani said. “Whatever the outcome of the meeting, the Party insists on the right of peaceful gatherings, the holding of parliamentary elections and the deliver of power to a civilian power no later than mid-2012,” he added.
