CAIRO: Presidential candidate Mohamed el-Baradei condemned security forces' excessive use of force against demonstrators in Tahrir Square. El-Baradei expressed his support for the demonstrators' demands for canceling military trials against civilians and forming a national salvation government to complete the transitional period and supervise upcoming parliamentary elections. The former International Atomic Energy Agency head demanded the authority to change their style in dealing with demonstrators and not use excessive force against them. He added the priority should be resolving the current crises through political solution not with security. He called on demonstrators all over Egypt to show restraint, keep the peacefulness of the revolution and not to let the situation escalate.
