A huge fire broke out at a palm farm in 6 October city's Qanater region, burning a large number of palm trees before Civil Protection could control the fire. The director of Giza Security, Abdeen Yousef, and security leaders moved to the scene. Fifteen fire trucks moved to scene. Civil Protection extinguished the fire without any injuries. Investigators said the fire started in a pile of trash before spreading to the palm trees. A report was filed and investigations are being carried out. Detective inspector Hossam Fawzy received a notification about the fire.
