CAIRO – Some 24 houses were burnt down in a village in Sohag Governorate in Upper Egypt on Wednesday. According to Al-Youm Al-Sabie website, three people were injured and more than 100 sheep were killed. A huge fire broke out in Nazzah el-Mahzamin Village, damaging many houses and palm trees and burning alive heads of cattle. The source of the fire has not yet been detected. Ten fire engines moved to the village managing to put out the fire with the help of villagers, according to eyewitnesses.
