ALEXANDRIA, Egypt; The first international Symposium Sharm el-Sheikh honors Egyptian artist Essmat Bawstachy, 68. Symposium Sharm el-Sheikh will begin tomorrow November 15 until November 21. Egyptian Minister of Culture Emad Abu Ghazy will attend the symposium's final ceremony, in which honor certifications will be presented. Abu Ghazy will also attend the opening fine of the art exhibition, which includes 38 works of artists from Arab countries and the U.S. Symposium Sharm el-Sheikh aims to activate tourism in Egypt and honor Egyptian artists such as al-Said al-Qamash, Mostafa Bat and Mostafa Bakeer among cinematic figures such as Nour al-Shereif, Mahmoud Hemeda and director Mahmoud Ibrahim. 11 countries will be participating in the first international Symposium Sharm el-Sheikh including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Morocco, Palestine, Lebanon, Kuwait, Syria, Jordon, Yemen and the U.S.
