Member of the Executive Office of Maspiro Youth Union, Mina Sabet, said a number of political and public figures will be participating in the funeral march on Friday November 11. The march will be in honor and mourning of the Coptic Christian martyrs who lost their lives in the Maspiro clashes. Figures will include Egyptian author Fatma Naoot, activist Nawal Shokry, broadcasters Nabil Sharaf al-Din and Mariam Milad, in addition to representatives from the January 25 Movement. He said they will gather in front of the Coptic Hospital in downtown Cairo and head to Tahrir Square. Another member of the union, Ramy Kamel, refuted the rumors that the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and Salafis established a platform in Tahrir Square in refusal of the Coptic Christian funeral march. He said he talked with those who established a platform in Tahrir Sqaure and realized they are families of the martyrs who want to participate and honor their martyrs. The Maspiro Union organized a funeral march for Friday Nobember 11 to honor the victims of the Maspiro clashes, who were killed during the Coptic Christian demonstration in front of Maspiro on October 9. The march is scheduled to be start in Abasseya and pass through the Coptic Hospital and end in Tahrir Square.
