CAIRO: The first two days of the Islamic Eid al-Adha feast and the day before will be fully paid vacation days for state workers, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Manpower. Minister Ahmed al-Boraei said that according to article No. 52 of the work law, the Eid holidays should be determined for the workers who are bound to this law. He also said that employers have the right to have their employees working during this vacation, but that the worker will be paid twice his or her usual salary for working during the three days of official holiday.
