CAIRO: Main Egyptian stock indexes made gains in the morning session today October 31, except for indexes of medium and small companies. The increase is sustained by foreign and Arab purchases. Most Egyptian transactions were sold-off. The main EGX30 stock index increased by 0.31 percent while the EGX70 declined by 0.01 percent. EGX100 rose by 0.04 percent and EGX20 increased by 0.19 percent. Many blue-chip stocks made gains early, including Mobinil by 2.3 percent, Juhayna by 1.6 percent, Orascom Telecom by 0.92 percent, Hermes by 0.24 percent and the Commercial International Bank by 0.34 percent.
