CAIRO: Egypt's stock indexes rose in the mid-session today thanks to purchases by Arab and foreign investors, while Egyptian investors continued to sell. The stock market's main index, EGX30, rose by 1.1 percent, EGX 20 rose by 0.98 percent while medium and small companies' index EGX70 decreased by 0.34 percent, whereas the broadest index EGX100 increased by 0.37 percent. A few stocks increased during mid-session transactions. The shares of Commercial International Bank rose by 2.5 percent, Orascom for Construction by 1.3 percent, TMG by 2.5 percent, SODIC by 2.7 percent, Hermes by 0.50 percent, Ezz Steel 2.5 percent and Mobinil by 0.33 percent.
