Egyptian stock market indexes rose during mid session transactions today. This rise is a result of foreign investors and organizations' intense purchasing. Main stock market index EGX30 rose by 1.35 percent, medium and small index EGX 70 increased by 1.15 percent and most common index EGX 100 rose by 0.99 percent. Total transactions amount reached 196.8 million EGP (U.S. $33 million). Most shares recorded today include Hermes increase by 1.6 percent; Mobinil by 4.7 percent; Qalaa by 2.6 percent; Talaat Mostafa Group by 1.6 percent; Orascom for Construction by 0.71 percent; Palm Hills by 0.68 percent; Upper for Contraction by 1.4 percent; and Orascom Telecom by 7.1 percent.
