CAIRO: The list names put forward for nomination for the head of radiology control did not include Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, the current head of the Nuclear Safety Center, who was expected to be nominated, said sources inside the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Power. Ibrahim was excluded from nomination after Administrative Court investigations found that he caused delays on the second reactor Argentine Inshas and wasted state funds. The list included four other names, all of whom are working in the Atomic Energy Commission and the Nuclear Safety Center, sources said. It is expected that Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf will name the new chief after the Eid Al Adha holiday, an important religious celebration in Islam.
