Hundreds of lawyers organized a protest on Thursday October 20 in South Giza Court to express their refusal of the new law of judiciary, which allows judges to imprison any citizen, including lawyers, during judicial sessions. The lawyers closed the doors of courts to prevent judges and those people who want to submit their papers to run for the next parliamentary elections from entering the court. The lawyers chanted against the law saying, "Judges, we've closed the doors," and "Judges, the lawyers took the decision."
