Egyptians call for protest on Oct. 28

CAIRO: A group of Egyptian political activists launched an invitation for a demonstration on Friday, October 28 titled, ‘Friday of revenge on remnants of the former regime.'
The demonstration was announced on the social networking site Facebook.
"We will surprise the world again with another earthquake not less than the January 25 earthquake, to demonstrate that the Egyptian revolution was not just an Intifada but a complete revolution,” said one of the page's organizers.
“We will show the world that the Egyptians are not deceived and October 28 will be the day of revenge on all the former regime's remnants," the statement added.
25,000 people have said on Facebook that they intend to attend the demonstration.
