The Coptic Christian Church participated in one of the largest Coptic Christian demonstration in Britain. The demonstration witnessed the participation of dozens of Coptic Christian priests and dozens of members from the European Parliament. Over 1,000 Coptic Christians demonstrated in front of Britain's House of Lords to protest against the Maspiro clashes over 20 dead and 300 injured. Head of United Coptic Christian Organization in Britain, Ibrahim Habib, offered a memorandum to Britain's House of Lords to address the Egyptian government. Habib told Youm7 they offered the memo to urge the Egyptian government to conduct fair and neutral investigations in the Maspiro clashes. Demands also included prosecution of those who incited against the demonstrators or those who gave orders to harm the demonstrators by armored vehicles during the demonstrations. "We demand the Egyptian government to issue a unified law for worship to achieve equality between Muslims and Coptic Christians in the Egyptian society," he added.
