Coptic Christians have continued their sit-in outside Maspiro, the Egyptian television headquarters, into its second week. Father Metias Nasr, a priest of St. Mary's Church, said the demonstrations will continue until protesters' demands have been met. He also said the protesters revere His Holiness Pope Shenouda III and that the Coptic Christian Church does not interfere in politics or its adherents' right to freedom of political expression.
