CAIRO: Hundreds of demonstrators marched from Tahrir Square to Maspiro, the Egyptian Television and Radio Headquarters, today, calling to transfer Egypt's authority to civilians. The protesters lifted red and black signs which said, "Military Council, Out." Part of the march went up Talaat Harb Street and around Talaat Harb Square. They chanted, "Out Out," "Leave it as a civil if you have no responsibility," and "the Policy not for the Army." They also raised photos of late Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser, on which they wrote, "A Human Leader." Another sign said, "Closing Al-Jazeera Mubashir means retreating to the time of the ousted [former regime]." Several movements, coalitions, and parties participated in the march, including the Free Egyptian Movement, Square Revolutionaries Coalition, and the Democratic People Alliance Party.
