The Roxy Coalition rejected calls by members of the dissolved National Democratic Party (NDP) to support them. Former members of the NDP requested they organize protests against the law of political isolation, which would ban them from participating in politics. The Public Coordinator of the Coalition, Mahmoud Atiya, said that he received invitations from the members of the NDP to participate in their protests. The coalition refused to respond to their demands, saying former NDP members strongly corrupted Egypt's political system.
