Agreement to link Egypt's and Sudan's electricity

Egyptian Minister of Electricity Hassan Younis assured Egypt's approval of the company executing the project linking between Egypt's and Sudan's electricity. The contract will be signed within a week in Cairo with the presence of Sudanese Minister of Electricity Osama Abdallah.
Sudanese ambassador to Cairo Kamal Hassan Ali said after the meeting with Egyptian Minister of Electricity, a protocol will be set between Egypt and Sudan to cover all the branches in the field of energy. The Sudanese ambassador met with Egyptian Minister of Electricity to follow the project's procedures yesterday.
Ali said both countries will exchange experiences, training programs, renewable energy projects and the protocol, to be signed by the ministries in both countries.
