CAIRO – Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Mosque Salah Nassar today urged Egyptians to not join political parties without careful thinking and consideration. “Egyptians must see what is good and what is bad,” Nassar said. “I say to those who cripple the peoples' interest, don't do this to not cause harm to anyone; you must choose who will talk on your behalf,” he said. Prophet Mohammad warned Muslims of negative attitudes and encouraged them to express their opinions in a civilized manner. The Prophet also urged Muslims to consider the importance of science in the renaissance, the Imam claims. Nassar called on all people to align with one another and bear responsibility for the nation. “Allah creates the human and honors him to reconstruct, not corrupt, the land,” he added.
