Head of the Egyptian Institution for fighting breast cancer Mohamed Shalaan participated in the seventh meeting of Clinton's International Initiative. In a discussion panel entitled "Voices for change in the Middle East and North Africa," the attendants raised issues of youth and their effect on society, women empowerment and professional challenges. The panel was attended by over 1,000 participants and discussed ways to improve job opportunities for the youth in the region. Discussions also included ways to support the woman's role to participate in drawing the future for Egypt. They also discussed the role of women and youth should create ruling regimes to achieve prosperity and stability. The former U.S. President, Bill Clinton, praised efforts by participants to find suitable solutions for the challenges worldwide. Shalaan participated in a session entitled "Fighting cancer in developing countries," which a number of prominent activists participating in fighting cancer globally. It is important to mention Clinton's International Initiative is a humanitarian authority working to support creative initiatives adopted by different organizations around the world to serve humanitarian objectives, especially in developing nations. The initiative supports partnerships between different sectors to execute projects serving sectors of education and health. The members of the initiative, such as the Egyptian Institution to fight breast cancer, should play a notable role to improve lives.
