CAIRO: The Saudi Arabian Embassy in Cairo accused the prominent protest movement April 6 of attacking the embassy on September 9. The embassy presented a complaint to the general attorney stating the embassy was attacked on September 9 and that April 6 was behind the attack. Losses from the attack included burned vehicles, shattered windows, broken surveillance cameras and broken doors, according to the report. The complaint said the attack against the embassy is considered an attack against Saudi territory, as the embassy is legally sovereign Saudi territory according to international agreements. The complaint also said the attacks were unjustified and were committed by outlaws who do not represent the respectful Egyptian people.
