CAIRO: The New Cairo Misdemeanor Court, headed by Ahmed Hosni Abdel Allah, decided to delay the first session of the police academy clashes trials. The clashes resulted in injuries of three police officers and 11 soldiers of the Central Security forces. Many police vehicles were damaged as well. October 6 activists attended the trail. They chanted slogans condemning the Ministry of Interior forces. The accused did not enter the dock. The trial was messy because of the slogans repeated by activists in the court hall. The Cairo attorney, headed by Mohamed Abu Naga, detained 22 accused of the clashes that took place last Monday in front of the police academy during the trail of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. The attorney also called upon the injured to be questioned and confront them with the accused. The attorney released the accused after confrontation.
