Five Kuwaiti lawyers selected by the leader of the Kuwaiti legal delegation Faisal el-Otaiby will volunteer to defend ousted Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak when the session commences this Monday, reported lead attorney for Mubarak Yousri Abdel Razek. “The Kuwaiti attorneys will arrive tomorrow, in time to attend the third session of the trial at the Police Academy,” said Abdel Razek. “The lawyers earlier obtained permission to participate.” A press conference with the Gulf attorneys will convene on Sunday to give the lawyers an opportunity to explain the motivations behind their participation in the trial. The Kuwaitis will apparently be residing in a hotel close to the Police Academy.
