Egyptian presidential nominee and former Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa considers the toppling of the Libyan Muammar Gadhafi regime the beginning of a new Libyan era. Moussa asked Libyans to preserve their Islamic Arabian identity and recapture democracy for their country. “I hope the Libyan Transitional Council will achieve change and development in Libya,” he said. "I am following the developments in Libya and wishing they achieve more development and democracy.” Libyan protestors largely took control of Tripoli yesterday. The International Criminal Court summoned the now-arrested Gadhafi son, Seif el-Islam.
