CAIRO: The head of Egypt's ruling military council, Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, visited Cairo's Tahrir Square today after Friday prayers. He checked on the members of the armed forces who have been in the square since the beginning of August. Tantawi shook hands with the military police in the square and talked with them. A number of citizens attempted to ask Tantawi questions. He greeted them without responding to their questions and then left the square.
