Google is planning a presentation to introduce Egyptians to ‘Google+,' a new social network. Google representatives had said Google+ is difficult to access because it is still in its initial stages and is a small project that does not intend to compete with Facebook, the number one social network in the world. A recently published study said Google+ attracted nearly 20 million users in three weeks since its launch in June, while there are 750 million users on Facebook. Egypt is now experiencing a boom in the use of social networking. After the January 25 Revolution, the number of Facebook subscribers doubled to 7 million and the number of Twitter users increased to 4 million, according to officials of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
