The chairman of the supreme committee of parliamentary elections ordered the formation of six committees to run Egypt's upcoming parliamentary elections from beginning to end. Judge Abdel Moez Ibrahim, chairman of the committee, said each committee will be headed by a member of the supreme election committee. The step is meant to be proof of the supreme committee's keenness to carry out its tasks and achieve free and fair elections in a transparent atmosphere that will express the will of the voters. The elections will be under the complete supervision of the Egyptian judiciary. The first committee, headed by Mohamed al-Sayed, is assigned to form the electoral committees in each governorate, including subcommittees. The second committee will supervise the election schedule through the national number database, and the third will apply the electoral symbols. The fourth committee will receive complains regarding the electoral process and will study their validity. The fifth committee will put regulations in place to organize Egyptian and international organizations' participation in the electoral process. The sixth and final committee will organize regulations for the electoral locations according to the law.
