CAIRO: The Egyptian Ministry of Health send a field hospital and ambulances to aid the casualties of this evening's clashes in Abbasiya neighborhood, according to Deputy Minister of Health Adel al-Adawy. He said six people in serious condition were transferred to three different hospitals. Adawy said one case was transferred to Ain Shams Hospital, another to Koubba Military Hospital and the last four were sent to Damerdash Hospital. He said the injuries consist of cuts, bruises and head injuries. Paramedics on the scene took care of those cases. He added that hospitals close to the scene of the clashes raised their emergency readiness to the highest degree, including Mansheyat Bakr, Heliopolis and Ain Shams hospitals. Clashes broke out this afternoon when unidentified persons attacked a group of demonstrators with stones, knives and Molotov cocktails. The demonstrators were marching from Tahrir Squire to the Ministry of Defense. More here:
