Egypt press reported several burning issues including Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf's heath and the controversy of appointing officers, accused of killing January 25 Revolution martyrs, in administrative posts in Ministry of Interior.
Youm7:
Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf took a one-day vacation upon request from doctors since he suffered from fatigue after fainting in the cabinet.
In other news, representative of the Cairo Court of Cassation, Abdel Moaz Ahmed Ibrahim, said the schedule of the upcoming Egyptian elections will be determined according to presidential decree.
Ibrahim said the committee of election started their duties. He also noted international monitoring depends upon a request from the government not from the committee itself.
Al-Ahram:
Egyptian Minister of Interior Mansour el-Essawi decided to appoint officers, involved in the case of murder of January 25 Revolution martyrs, in administrative posts inside his Ministry until the passing court makes a verdict in their cases.
After reporting conflicting news of the resignation of Sharaf's government, the new government's postponed swearing in the new ministers.
Al-Akhbar:
United States and Libya held dialogue in Tunisia on Saturday, according to Libyan governmental spokesman, Moussa Ibrahim.
In a meeting, the U.S. department of States highlighted a message for Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi to step down.
Al-Masry Al-Youm:
Chairman of the auditing department of Illicit Gain Authority, Montasser Saleh, investigated the head of legal affairs body of New Cairo, who confessed the Former speaker of the People's Assembly, Fathi Sorour, has eight pieces of land. Meanwhile, the Authority revealed Talat Group allocated an apartment in Four Season Hotel with less cost.
Commenting on his resignation from Ministry of Antiquities after his one-day post, el-Banna said, “I did what Sharaf could not do, I returned to Tahrir Square until Egypt gets rid of all corrupted figures.”
Al-Shorouq:
According to a military source, if the former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak passes away before his trial on August 3, a military funeral will be held for him.
Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF), Hussein Tantawi, will deliver a speech in occasion of the July 23 Revolution. His speech will be delivered during a graduation party for military graduates.
Al- Gomhorreya:
Chairman of the Egyptian National Atomic Energy Agency said it has several solutions with Gamma rays to confront the case of E-Coli infecting agricultural crops and grains. The solution aims to enhance Egyptian exporting in international markets.
